In the heart of vibrant Zurich, our steel construction expertise was once again put to the test with an impressive stair tower. The steel structure was successfully completed in two stages in February 2021. Willy Stäubli Ing. AG was responsible for the planning, statics, execution and assembly as the executing company. In addition, Gruner AG was consulted as an engineering firm for the structural testing.

The internal planning was carried out entirely in 3D programs to enable visualization and ensure efficient processing. The stair tower was hot-dip galvanized in accordance with the applicable EN ISO 12944 standard and professionally fixed in the shaft by our steel construction fitters. The purpose of the deep shaft, including the built-in stair tower, is for any maintenance work and as an escape route.
